This was by design.
It was intended that one can create the statistics individually for the
statistics windows
independently of what filters are used in the main window.
(This can be seen in the command line arguments used to create these stats,
they all carry their own
optional filter string.   Its just that the service response time stats got
these filters but the conv/endp tables never got them implemented
in the gui)
