Hi List!

As the "but displayed packets only" checkbox seem's to be confusing,

After thinking about this for a while now, I've made a glade prototype,
how the packet range frame could look like.

packet range frame

This is only the packet range frame, not the whole dialog ;-)

The Captured and Displayed buttons are toggle buttons, which act almost the same way as the radio buttons,
only one at a time can be active.

Only one of the two packet count columns will be sensitive, corresponding to the pressed toggle button.

If one of the counts is zero, it will be insensitive (grayed).

The "Specify a packet range" text entry will only be active, if the corresponding radio button is active.

Defaults will be "All packets" and Captured.

Is this a solution everybody can live with, or does someone has an even better idea?

Regards, ULFL
