bison.simple is one of the templates which bison uses in generating its output. There might an env var it can use to find the file, but I just put bison.simple in the same directory as bison.exe. You should be able to get the complete bison from http://www.gnu.org/software/bison/bison.html regards, Eric > -----Original Message----- > From: N [mailto:ofmen27@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Thursday, October 23, 2003 1:04 PM > To: ethereal-dev@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [Ethereal-dev] Trying to rebuild Ethereal for Windows > > > Hi, > > I've recently downloaded the source and am trying to > rebuild the Ethereal executable but I'm getting the > following error message after executing nmake -f > Makefile.nmake. > I couldn't find out why the bison.exe program is > looking for bison.simple, and could not find the file > itself. > Any sugguestions? > > Regards, > Neil > > > > > > Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version > 6.00.8168.0 > Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1988-1998.
