Hi!

Unfortunately, there seems to be missing some "cd .." to be working correctly. When I try to do a distclean with the current CVS makefiles, I get some errors "cannot find dir ..."

Please find attached a patch, which solves this problem (at least on my machine). When using distclean after applying this patch, it does exactly what it should do :-)
