Yes, it does. I removed the '/usr/local/lib/ethereal/plugins/0.9.7' 
directory and ran 'make install', which put the binaries in 
'/usr/local/bin' and the plugins back in 
'/usr/local/lib/ethereal/plugins/0.9.7', so I'm sure it's picking up the 
correct plugins.

Running '/usr/local/bin/ethereal' results in:
