The special case with ethereal plugins is, that companies providing binary
only dissectors *are* sharing something: Knowledge about network protocols.

They also cannot modify the UI nor the core (tvbuffs, normal dissctors)
without giving that back.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
