Im sorry if I caused any confusion here, but I am indeed talking about AIX
*tcpdump* captures, this time. ( In a previous thread I had reported
problems with iptrace, which should indeed be fixed now, thanks to Guy. ) So
to avoid any more confusion, let me try to make myself perfectly clear: This
thread is about AIX tcpdump, the previous thread was about AIX iptrace.
Maybe I should also use this opportunity to point out that Im using AIX
4.3.3 here, and not AIX 5.1. If you think it's usefull, I can try to get my
hands on an aix 5.1 tcpdump file as well, to verify that the format of
aix-433 tcpdump and aix-51 tcpdump are the same.
