What is Ethereal's policy regarding adding proprietary protocols?

I have permission from my company's R&D VP to add a dissector for a protocol
used in my company's products, but it's not a standard or published.
Is it ok to add it to Ethereal?
I'm talking about adding it to the source code of course, with the code
GPL'ed.
