Download the latest source or the latest nightly snapshot.
Beware, since very few of the ethereal developers use the w32 platform
there might be some w32 magic you must apply to non-unix versions to get it
to compile.
See the readme files if there are instructions/guidance on how to compile it
for w32.
as an option, compile and run it under unix where I and others may be of
assistance in building ethereal.

I want to get the source code for win32 distribution. I have downloaded all
the file listed in the site http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/win32/
except the files in "old-version" directory.
Now what I see is the glib, gtk or zlib source code. Where is the core code
for the implementation of ethereal.
I want to see the routines which are handling capture, format and displaying
packets.
Please! this is very important for me.
