Hello,
I'm trying to compile a h323 plugin for Ethereal under Linux-x86. This
plugin is made by
Andreas Sikkema <andreas.sikkema@xxxxxxxxxxx>, http://www.voice2sniff.org/,
and it compiles only under Windows.
I've added and modified the proper Makefile.am, configure.in, etc.,
following advices in
http://www.ethereal.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/ethereal/doc/README.pl
ugins?rev=1.5&content-type=text/plain .
I know have an h323 plugin that compiles, links and installs properly.
However, Ethereal is unable to load the resulting plugin. It seems that the
call to g_module_open() in epan/plugins.c:plugins_scan_dir() fails. I don't
understand why. I've looked at the h323.so file and it seems to contain all
the relevant symbols.
Would an ethereal developer be kind enough to have a look at this work and
perhaps point me to something that I have overlooked? I'm new to all that
autoconf, automake, libtool stuff. Maybe I've missed a compilation option?
I enclose in this mail a patch of this h323 plugin to apply to regular
Ethereal-0.9.3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Best regards,
David Mentré
