I am not necessarily questioning the functional,ity but rather the
appearance. With that said, there are still some behaviour issues with
focus on some controls, but this is probably due to my regular use of
Windows for the past 10+ years.
As an example, one thing that drives me crazy about the default theme of
Gtk is how it draws that ridiculous focus rectangle around push buttons.

Yes, a definite refinement over the Athena widget set or Motif, but not
quite there yet.

I do not like the appearance of Gtk on any platform.

I have no idea if it's even possible. The fact that I would have to
support an additional UI on Win32 bothers me.
