Well, I guess the Linux developers don't, given that the Linux 2.4.9
kernel's "drivers/net/slhc.c" has that version of the BSD license in it.

Does anybody know whether all "documentation, advertising materials, and
other materials related to such distribution and use" for various Linux
distributions "acknowledge that the software was developed by the
University of California, Berkeley"?  If not, I guess the Linux
distributors in question are violating the license....
