How hard would be to implement filtering based on user's filters ?
For instance, I have set
filter1 defined as "arp
or icmp or bootp"
filter2 defined as "hsrp
or cdp or stp"
in the display filters tab, and I want to enter the following filter:
filter1 and not filter2 and not llc
If I try this, ethereal gives me "Unable to parse filter string ..."
which is correct because it does not try the user defined filters.
