Hi Team,

I hope this message finds you well.  My name is Lauren Woods – I am assisting Capital One’s Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team in the review of Capital One’s inventory of applications for export compliance standards set by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce's Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS).  

For the purposes of our documentation, our goal is to obtain Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) for each of the items in our review.

We are seeking information for the following Wireshark Foundation products, as we have it listed in our records:

WireShark 4.0.8.0

Wireshark Foundation Wireshark

Specifically, we need to confirm whether Wireshark uses non-standard crypto. If it does, have you notified BIS per 742.15(b)(2)?

Could you please provide me with an email address for the sector of Wireshark Foundation that would most likely be responsible for matters related to U.S. export laws and regulations as they relate to their products?  Alternatively, please let me know if you would prefer to conduct the outreach instead.
