We are excited to announce the upcoming election for the Wireshark Technical Steering Committee (WTSC). All individuals who have contributed to Wireshark via Gitlab over the past two years are eligible to vote. This is a great opportunity to have your say in the future of Wireshark and shape its development.

The election will take place on the dedicated website https://elections.wireshark.org, starting from 2025-07-01 00:00 (UTC) and closing on 2025-07-15 00:00 (UTC). We encourage all eligible contributors to participate and cast their votes during this period.

Voting will be approval voting, where each voter may select up to eight candidates. The eight candidates with the most votes win the election.
