Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] Need help to understand capture from network boot

Hi all,

I am trying to configure a small cluster, for which I am using OpenHPC, which
in turns uses Warefulf for the provision of the nodes.

Basically, Warewulf is intended to boot the nodes over PXE. There are three network protocols used to accomplish this DHCP/BOOT, TFTP, and HTTP on port 9873. Warewulf uses the operating system’s provided version of DHCP (ISC-DHCP) and TFTP for the PXE bootstrap to iPXE, and then iPXE will use Warewulf’s internal HTTP services to transfer the larger files for provisioning.

Well, I am stuck in the third stage of the booting process, that is, ipxe use of http services
to transfer the kernel... the file undionly.kpxe is downloaded by the computing node, processed, ipxe is started and the nic interface is configured, but the http transaction fails (see attached image)

I also attach a screenshot of wireshark's control of the packets interchanged between the
headnode and the (to be) computing node, through interface eth1.

Any help in decoding the messages of the failed transaction
would point me in the direction of where the errors come from.
That would be very welcome.

Cheers,

Fabio Zyserman
