I got some messages from BugZilla that indicate the cause of
the Win7-64 SIP crash was found. It sounds like an easy quick workaround is to
replace the version of libglib-2.0-0.dll with a newer one. Apparently there is
a version called 2.18 that is shipped with the Win32 version of WS. The Win64
installer ships with 2.18. The 2.20 glib checks for a zero pointer and prevents
the crash according to the note. The 2.18 version does not.
This is causing me a lot of pain. Can someone direct me to
the right version of libglib-2.0-0.dll? Presumably I can just drop this into
the WS directory and the crash will go away.
Cheers, Bob
