So, I am trying to determine why my network is slow.
I have a gigabit network, using a netgear 24 port (metal not plastic) gigabit switch. One machine has a nice Intel card in it. Both machines are very reasonably powered windows machines.
I know they are connecting at 1gb full duplex, and I have used the intel card to confirm that the cabling is good.
So, the problem I have is that I get about 12-14MB/sec when I copy files.
I am rather new to wireshark, so I could use some help figuring out how to see what's going on. Anyone willing to help teach me?
