Hi,
Wireshark can only determine if the payload of UDP is RTP if the signaling seting up the RTP stream
is in the trace(and if WS understands it e.g not a proprietary protocol used). If it's not in the trace you can try "Decode as" if you know
which UDP packets are RTP or try to change the preference for RTP to try to detect RTP outside
of conversations but that might give false positives.
Regards
Anders

Subject: [Wireshark-users] Wireshark don't show RTP Packets

Hiii,

I'm usind D-ITG traffic generator, for generating Voip. After running D-ITG on server and client side in VoIP mode,
Wireshark don't show the RTP packets which is send by D-ITG from server to client. I get only UDP packets.
Can anybody tell me why I can't capture the RTP packets ?

greetings,
J
