Not crashing, it just never really *starts*. The icon's got an arrow, but there's no menus available other than 'wireshark' with services and quit, and no open windows. Weird.

Um, X11 is the latest one according to versiontracker. 1.1.3.

being from the app icon or from the command line, I get nada but a
bouncing icon and a 'wireshark' menu with no window.
