installed wireshark thru macport


Have you installed X11?  If not, that's what you didn't do right.
If you have installed X11, is X11 running? If not, that's what you didn't do right.
If X11 is running, have you set the DISPLAY environment variable to :0.0? If not, that's what you didn't do right.
