I would like to implement some custom format functions to be used by
multiple dissectors. Can you please provide some guidance, where these
functions are to be placed best?
Should they be implemented in one of the dissectors and just be used by
the others? Or should they be extracted to a separate file (possibly
placed outside epan/dissectors) and then used by all dissectors?
The concrete context are some custom format functions to be used by
both, the GPS and the Galileo message dissector.
