Was this project still going to happen?
Did you still need some assistance with the autotools (Makefile.am)
changes?

(I was researching the conventions about what scope of contributions
were considered appropriate for adding to the AUTHORS file, and found
this proposal.)

But i have no yet finish to update the list of AUTHORS on git
