Wireshark-dev: [Wireshark-dev] Feature request: option to auto scroll IO graph when scrollbar t

Hi,

when investigating network issues with IO graph, it would be nice to have an option to automatically scroll the IO graph to the right end when the IO graph gets updated periodically.

That automatic scrolling should only take place when the scrollbar thumb is located at the right end of the scrollbar. This allows to investigate an interesting part of the IO graph for a longer period of time by scrolling to that location. Once the thumb is tracked and released at the right end of the scrollbar, automatic scrolling will go on.

This feature is similar to how most IDEs behave in there output window. For example MSVC automatically scrolls the output window, when the cursor is located at the end of the output. If you position the cursor anywhere else in the output, automatic scrolling stops until you again position the cursor to the end of the output.

Feel free to ask for further information. Thanks in advance.

BTW: Wireshark (64-bit) 1.10.5 (SVN Rev 54262 from /trunk-1.10)

Bye.
