With the libraries we use and what was used to compile them with regard
to MSVCRxx.DLL and manifests(?)

that VS2008SP1 (or VS2008EESP1) is required/recommended.

It wasn't that complicated after all and it did work out of the box as
you said. I am happy once more :-)

And I just noticed a mistake in the subject of this thread... it should
have read "Can't execute ...". Sorry!
