Alas, I have arrived at the same place. If I understand MSVC's debugging function correctly (questionable), then it's crashing at an fgetline call in libwireshark.dll.

That's all I've got so far. This is wireshark 0.99.4.0. Let me know if you find anything.

If you get it to run let me know how. I got it to run as far as the little
blurb that says "Init dissectors...". Then it crashes.
I haven't made much progress beyond that. I've been wrestling with windbg.
