I dragged both of the provided files on 1.12 (GTK) - Wireshark crashed.
I dragged both of the provided files on 2.0 and master (2.3) (GTK) - Got the
error message:

Record 1 of "Bluetooth1.cap" has an interface ID which does not match any IDB
in its file.

(so no crash)

I dragged both of the provided files on master Qt and it just opened
Bluetooth1.cap.
Is the fact that Qt only opened the first file a different bug (missing
feature?)

If the "expected feature" is to merge the files, I think GTK may have it
correct that the two files aren't compatible to merge and this bug should be
closed.

Should a separate one be open for Qt to allow merging through drag & drop?
