According to
http://www.asteriskdocs.org/en/3rd_Edition/asterisk-book-html-chunk/asterisk-UnderstandingVoIP-SECT-3.html
both G.722 and G.726 do not require a license: "The patents for G.722 have
expired, so it is freely available" (there is no mention of patents for G.726).

Looks like we are safe here.
