Build Information:
Version 2.2.1 (v2.2.1-0-ga6fbd27 from master-2.2)
--
Every time a person upgrades to a new version of wireshark, they have to
"remember" to save off any [build folder] .lua (dissectors), and manually
restore them after the upgrade. For example on Windows, currently we have:
* In C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\2.2.1, we have 4 .lua files to be
copied in
* In C:\Program Files\Wireshark, we have to copy in bit.dll
Feature Request:
=================
Upon each wireshark upgrade:
----------------------------
1. Prior to uninstall of the old wireshark version, any "foreign" files should
identified along with their the folder location and copied to a temp folder
2. After the upgrade, the "foreign" files should have the file restored to its
proper location
