Nope, these error messages are supposed to be shown in the dialog themselves
(try for yourself, empty the IP address for example, then a red error message
is visible in the bottom of the dialog).
I was able to reproduce the issue on 2.0.5 using your detailled steps (thanks
for that!).
It turns out that the changing just the filename setting does not mark the
dialog as changed. As a workaround you can add a new row + delete the new row
or modify the other text fields to persist the setting. Working on a fix now.
