The "Reassembled TCP Segments" information isn't saved in the file, it's
calculated from the dissection of packets.
Perhaps saving a (pcapng?) file as a pcap file either loses packets or damages
them, so that the dissection doesn't give the same answer as it does in the
original file.
Do you have an example of a file where it works, and the pcap file, saved from
that file, where it doesn't work?
