I agree this is a loss of functionality as we do not seem to have a wildcard
support in decode_as_entries file allowing to indicate that the default handler
should be whatever sub protocol we want.
I'm really wondering if this MPLS option removal was a good thing or not.

BTW I believe tshark should load the decode_as_entries file. Any objection?
