Hi again.
First and foremost, it works.
Thank you for your detailed explanation.
Step 1 simply doesn't apply to Windows 10 since this patch "is already
installed" (I tried it!)
Step 2 and 4 do fail. Probably bad file, corrupt download etc.
Butr7 works now. The issue is resolved and Wireshark works with npcap 0.05-r7
for me.
