I would have added this to
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11766, but that is RESOLVED
FIXED.

The first time I installed Wireshark 2.0.1 everything seemed to be fine until a
few days later I tried to fire up a Ubuntu VM in VirtualBox that I use
regularly.

VirtualBox failed to start the VM and hung during boot. VirtualBox failed to
detect the failure and became unusable. A reboot was required to regain control
of the VirtualBox control panel.

At the time I assumed a Microsoft critical update a week earlier may be the
cause. After a system restore (which also removed Wireshark 2.0.1) everything
was back to normal.

Then I installed Wireshark 2.0.1 again. This time I lost access to all USB
ports, and realised USBPcap could be the problem. After uninstalling Wireshark
and USBPcap the USB ports were available again.

Until this point I'd been using Wireshark 1.x extensively (without USBPcap) and
never encountered this problem so assumed USBPcap was the likely culprit.

Note this is on Windows 8.1 (I get the impression bug 11766 is Windows 7
specific).
