Before asking about my hardware :) I'm running on a Dell M6800 8-thread Intel
i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz with 32GB of memory, not yet swapping...
Start. Stop after displaying about 5 packets. Wait several seconds; when it
finally stops capturing, I see many more packets.
Also, when first starting a capture, I get 5 packets, wait for more packets to
appear, then Stop is quicker.
Sorting randomly takes many seconds 10+ to complete. Subsequent sorts are
quick.
"Automatic scrolling in live capture" is enabled.
Enabled "Show the capture summary dialog while capturing" seems to occasionally
clear up the slowness...
