When I launch Wireshark development version 2.1.0-1049-gd835b27, it pops up a
dialog titled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library." The dialog message is:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information." The status
bar shows "Please wait while Wireshark is initializing."

This happens on two different computers, both running Windows 7 Professional,
Service Pack 1. Version 2.0.0 is operating normally on both of these systems,
as well as 1.12.8. The computers exhibiting the problem behavior are both Dell
tower computers that were identical when purchased, but now have different
software installed. It does not happen on an older Dell laptop, also running
Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1.

The problem occurs with both Wireshark.exe and Wireshark-gtk.exe.

The same crash-on-launch occurred with builds 1044 and 1046, which is as far
back as I have tested.
