Column values are, when possible, generated on the fly by dissecting the
packet, and aren't stored.

That currently doesn't work well with sorting; as I remember, the first time a
column is sorted, the column values are generated and stored, and a sort is
done on that.

There are probably ways that sort can be made to work well even if the column
values are *always* generated on the fly.
