I just installed Wireshark 1.12.4 (build information below) from the PPA at
ppa:pi-rho/security, and confirm the same problem: sorting the packet table on
the port column sorts lexicographically, not numerically.

with GnuTLS 3.2.11, with Gcrypt 1.5.3, with MIT Kerberos, with GeoIP, with
PortAudio V19-devel (built Feb 25 2014 21:09:53), without AirPcap.

Running on Linux 3.13.0-61-generic, with locale en_US.UTF-8, with libpcap
version 1.5.3, with libz 1.2.8, GnuTLS 3.2.11, Gcrypt 1.5.3.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Built using gcc 4.8.2.
