It works for me in the version on the trunk.
There's not a lot of support for Qt in versions other than the one on the
trunk; if the Linux Magia people decided to use Qt with a non-trunk version of
Wireshark, that was not a good idea, as there's a lot of functionality
available in the GTK+ version that's not available in the Qt version.
I'll tell them to stop doing that. This is marked as "FIXED" because it works
in the trunk; I doubt anybody will bother to fix it in any 1.12.x release, as
there's a ton of other functionality missing in the 1.12.x Qt Wireshark, and
we're focused on adding it for the trunk version.
