Sorry for the delayed response, but I was on vacation. I took a in-depth look
on the issue and found the underlying cause. This is already fixed in the
current git master. But backporting this to 1.12 would be a huge change.
I would prefer to add a boolean flag, which would enable the duplication
detection (it seems to work correctly in about 80% of all cases I've looked
into so far) and setting the boolean flag per default to false, so that no
detection takes places. It is a more indepth analysis feature anyway, so I
would be ok with making it an "expert" option.
