When trying to capture multiple files, the capture stops after 1 capture file
when it reaches the "Next file every 100 megabyte(s)" limit.
#############################################################
Steps done to capture multiple files:
Under Capture Files
1. Browse to a specific folder location and name new file
2. Check 'Use multiple files'
3. Check 'Use pcap-ng format'
4. Check 'Next file every 100 megabytes'
Under Stop Capture Automatically After...
1. Check '2000 files'
2. Verify no other boxes are checked
Under Display Options
1. Uncheck 'Update list of packets in real time'
Click Start
#############################################################
The capture will start but it stops after one 100 megabyte file is captured.
When I go back to the Capture Options, the greyed out 'Stop Capture
Automatically after 100 megabytes' is checked. I have tried lowering my file
size to 1 MB and stop after 5 files, but I still have the same issue occurring.
Please note that I had ran Wireshark with the exact same steps above on
6/11/2015 without issue. Since then, I have not been able to run the multiple
file capture successfully.
