Build Information:
I have wreshark 1.12.1 (as per opensuse 13.2, prebuilt package)
--
I've spent quite some hours today trying to figure how to apply a simplest
capture filter that worked fine for many years for me. Not only program
interface has become very strange and counterintuitive, but also online manual
explains how to use horribly outdated wireshark version which is absolutely of
no relevance whatsoever. See e.g. this:
https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsug_html_chunked/ChWorkDefineFilterSection.html
Not sure if this is exactly right place to mention, but I'm just shocked to
what happened to one of my favourite tools - wireshark. Spent some few hours
today trying to do just a simplest capture, with zero result. Maybe I could try
to downgrade to some older one, but still this is horribly disappointing...
