No, not a duplicate. "Let me do arithmetic on a named field or fields and
treat the result as a column" is different from "let me use an _expression_ that
*doesn't* involve named fields and use *that* as a column".
Note, though, that ip[4:2] would, of course, show two bytes, probably in hex
with a : between them, rather than a 2-byte number.
