Problem solved.
All I did was to To Install Wireshark 1.12.0 by following the directions in the
link below:

HOWEVER, there is still one little problem. During all the tweekings to make
things work, I realized there was another wireshark on my system callesd
"wireshark.orig"
Located @ /usr/bin/wireshark.orig

1. Please how do I remove it?
2. And how did it come about in the first place?
