Side question: does CONFIRMED mean we also see the behavior or does it mean we
agree it's a bug?

Anyway, is there anything we can do about this?  The only possibility I see is
to not fully trust Content-Length and parse each byte looking for the possible
start of another http message (slow and probably not a good idea in the first
place).

Should this be NOTABUG?
