When filter _expression_ buttons are added to the display filter toolbar,
hovering the mouse over a filter _expression_ button will cause a tooltip to pop
up showing the display filter that is associated with the button.
When more filter _expression_ buttons are added than will fit on the display
filter toolbar, the "extra" buttons appear in a vertical sidebar that is opened
by clicking a triangle on the far right side of the display filter toolbar.
Hovering the mouse over these filter _expression_ buttons on the vertical sidebar
does not display the associated display filter.
