Comment # 37 on bug 9607 from Michael Mann

I don't want the monopoly on writing Fileshark code, so if a patch for a
"file-backed tvb" or a working "proto_tree_add_record" comes along to
completely replace filetap, that's fine.  I've learned things and enjoyed the
"intellectual exercise" enough that the work I've done shouldn't be considered
a waste.
