I'm following along in the Wireshark 101 book. I'm on Lab 10 which deals with
Capturing to File Sets. I've matched the settings in Step 4 (page 99). It
doesn't seem to be creating a set. It stops after creating one file. I've
tried this on my desktop and my laptop, and I get the same results. I'm
expecting 4 files as part of the set, but I only get one and the capture stops
just short of 10 seconds. Sometimes 9 seconds.
I am using Wireshark version 1.10.7 by the way. Both my laptop and desktop are
running MS Windows. Specifically Windows 8.1 Professional for the laptop and
Windows 7 Professional for the desktop.
For the record, yes I do have the following selected:
Multiple files
Use pcap-ng format
Next file every 1 megabyte
Next file every 10 seconds
Stop capture after 4 files
