Yes! You are right, there is no reason to prefer one port to another. I've
missed that. This is not a bug.
I suppose Wireshark just displays packets, it has no notion of incoming and
outgoing packets. This is different from the implementation which actually
handles the packets, and I disregarded that difference.
I'll abandon my changes in Gerrit and you can close this bug report.
As for the answer to your question: The NAT was changing the port to a reserved
port because we set the mappings that way, it was the nature of our test. We
cover a lot of edge cases.
