Handle large signed integers

I posted something to -dev
(http://www.wireshark.org/lists/wireshark-dev/201312/msg00166.html), but this
is probably the right place for it.  Here is some basic handling for 5+ byte
integers, although I'm not sure if this will compile/work on all platforms.
